Also, the very reliable dual CAT C-15 ACERT 811 hp engine upgrade which allows economical cruising (1 gallon per nautical mile at trawler speeds), and the option of a continuous cruising speed of 17+ knots for when you want or need to get somewhere quickly. The dual Racor fuel filters w/vacuum gauges, fuel polishing system, and Fireboy fire suppression system w/alarm insure trouble free operation with proper operator attention and monitoring. The wireless Yacht Controller remote control allows you to dock the boat from any location.
The owner went one step further and, not totally satisfied with the yachts seakeeping charastics, he contacted the designer, naval architect Jack Sarin. After several discussions Mr. Sarin designed new rudders for OFFLINE using his original engineering information and the input from the owner and they were installed in the summer of 2010. The result is a boat that, according to the owner, is a dream to run and handle in all sea conditions including a following sea. Click to view boat video tour. Click to view OFFLINE underway.

You enter the spacious salon from the large cockpit through an oversized sliding door with teak frame and large tinted window. All the windows in the boat are tinted / UV protected to cut heat and save the interior from the deteriorating effects of constant sunlight. The salon has a U-shaped settee to port with a teak Hi-Lo table and Ultra-Leather cushions. Opposite to starboard is a straight settee just forward of an end table cabinet and the aft entertainment center which houses the TV/VCR, Satellite receiver and other components. Just forward of this settee and conveniently opposite the galley is a cabinet with the icemaker and storage. The entire interior of the boat is a beautiful light teak. The combination of this unusual teak and the large salon windows make this area open, bright and airy. The U-shaped galley is forward to port on the same level as the salon and is functional and well appointed. The upgraded microwave/convection oven is over the smooth electric cooktop saving space and allowing an overboard exhaust blower to take the cooking smells outside. The double Grohe S.S. sink and fixture face out one of the port windows. The island counter that separates the salon and galley areas has plenty of storage and drawer space. The refrigerator was upgraded to an Amana side-by-side with ice and water through the door for greater efficiency.
All the way to starboard, forward of the icemaker cabinet and up three steps to the pilothouse finds you in another very open and functional area. There is a large L-settee to port and more than halfway across the back of the area behind the helm. It ends at the stairs to the FB helm which is offset to starboard just inboard of the steps of the salon.
The helm is well laid out with all electronics, instruments and engine gauges in the teak console or custom teak mounts directly forward of the wheel. The starboard PH door allows access to the side and forward decks. The companionway stairs down to the staterooms is forward to starboard and the washer and dryer is at the base of the stairs behind louvered teak doors.
The forward guest stateroom has a center island bed, 2 hanging lockers and several drawers and it’s own air conditioning system. It is as roomy as the master and could become the MSR if desired. The private ensuite head has a separate stall shower and Grohe fixtures plus ample storage.
The master stateroom is below the pilothouse and has an island queen berth to starboard with a large cedar lined hanging locker, many drawers and cabinets and a largehead also with separate stall shower.
The engine room was laid out with serviceability in mind for both owner and professional service technicians. The headroom was increased by several inches and the area is accessible through the cockpit lazarette or the hatch in the galley area. Both are easy to use.The batteries, compressors, water systems etc. are all reachable and they don’t block access to the engines. The 16kW Gen-set is in the lazarette as is the water-maker. Even with this equipment here there is plenty of storage for lines, fenders, anchors etc. Both the engine room and lazarette have 110v and 12v lighting. All the air conditioning and the water maker is 220v for greater efficiency and life span. Click Here to Download the complete listing!

This recently listed hard to find model is in top condition. SHANGRI-LA was purchased in seattle in fresh water by the current owners in 2001 and then trucked to Houston where she was offloaded, fully serviced and run to Naples, FL, where she was berthed. She has traveled the coastal waters and spent time in North Carolina and most recently Jacksonville, FL. Now back in Naples, she is Seriously For Sale as the owners will not be cruising as extensively and are looking for a smaller downeast styel boat. She is very economical, burning ONLY 6 GPH at 8 knots. She will cruise at 10 knots burning only 1.4 GPM. A roomy 3-stateroom boat she has 2 heads and separate stall showers.
She is one of the most comfortable and capable boats, in ride, seakeeping characteristics and accommodations this broker has run in my 30+ years in the business. A perfectGreat Loop boat for a family or a couple to travel in comfort and style, she has been constantly updated, lovingly maintained and offers a turnkey opportunity at a great value. Sea Fever
Four years in the making from concept to christening, SEA FEVER (ex: CROSSER) is a stellar example of a quality custom yacht: very well built, safe and functional, quiet and aesthetically pleasing. Designed by Ed Monk, Jr. for a seasoned yachtsman who wanted a seakindly and comfortable long range cruiser, a great deal of time and effort went into tank testing her hull, engineering her systems, selecting her machinery, electronics and equipment, and planning her stunning interior. This same level of attention to detail was sustained throughout the building process and is evidenced by the flawless fit and finish that were done by McQueen’s Yachts Ltd. Having cruised over 20,000 miles since the present owner purchased her in late 2006, SEA FEVER has definitely proven herself as a trouble-free, seaworthy and economical LRC. Not only is she ready to embark on another passage, but she has been kept in superb condition by her very conscientious owner and professional crew. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for an elegant yet “no-nonsense” fiberglass passagemaker. Click here to view boat video.
